The video work shows an attempt to write the word Covid-19 in a mail programme. Since the word Covid-19 is not yet known to the autocorrect programme, it is changed to Ovid after typing the space bar, the name of an ancient Roman poet. Metamorphoses is considered his main work and deals with the creation of the world.
Only by adding the missing C at the beginning manually is it possible to write the word. After pressing the Enter key, the word appears underlined in red as an error.
This little fight with technology questions our relationship of dependence on technology in this particular time and refers to our feeling of beeing overburdened with the unknown virus.
