The oldest printing press still existing and its exact copy are located at the Plantin Moretus Museum in Antwerp.
In the work info press Zürrer made six digital drawings, which show the reproduced printing press. The digital drawings got engraved in to wood plates with a laser cutter.
In the museum Zürrer printed the engraved wood plates with the reproduced printing press. The prints are supplemented with a video that documents the whole process in the manner of informative Facebook videos. With this work Zürrer wanted to examine the revolutionary ways of spreading information that were introduced with the printing presses and now are changing again due to the Internet with its digitality.
